Delete your Todiax account

Last updated:

You can request deletion of your account and associated data for Todiax: Smart Daily Organizer by email, even if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.

Request deletion by email

Send your request to the Todiax developer at programer.dn.jp@gmail.com with the subject Todiax account deletion request.

  1. Use the email address associated with your Todiax account. If you signed in with Google, use that Google account's email address.
  2. State that you want your Todiax account and associated data deleted. If you cannot access the account email, explain this in your request. If known, mention whether you used the regular app or a test build.
  3. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership. You do not need to reinstall Todiax to submit the request.

Do not send your password, account recovery code, one-time codes, or payment-card details. Opening the email link does not send a request: send the message from your email service.

Email requests are handled manually and are free of charge. You do not need an active subscription or access to the app. The suggested subject helps us find your message, but is not required. This page does not perform automatic deletion.

What happens next and how long it takes

We verify account ownership before deleting data. If more information is necessary, we ask only for what is needed. We do not require you to disclose your password or encryption secrets. If you no longer control the account email, we will discuss another proportionate way to verify ownership instead of requiring you to reinstall the app.

We act without undue delay and normally complete the request within one calendar month of receiving it. Within that period we will confirm the result or explain any verification issue, lawful retention, or permitted extension. Where applicable law allows an extension for a complex request, it may take up to two additional months; we will explain the reason within the first month. We do not silently restart the deadline when asking a question.

Our reply states what was deleted, which provider requests were made, and any remaining data, reason for retention, and expiry date or event that ends retention. The limited retention periods below are separate from the time needed to remove the active account.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in to Todiax and open Profile.
  2. Select Delete account.
  3. Read the subscription warning, if shown, and confirm deletion.

After successful deletion, the account is removed from the active authentication system and you are signed out. Deletion cannot be undone. Separately stored records and provider data are reviewed as part of the same deletion process; you do not need to submit a second request. If the app reports an error, email us so we can check whether any part of the deletion has already succeeded.

What account deletion removes

The in-app operation removes the records listed above from the active backend when it succeeds. It does not remotely erase local-only content, exported files, or backups on your devices. Delete those copies separately on each device if you no longer want them.

The full deletion process also covers identifiable Premium usage analytics, first-launch survey responses that can be linked to you, support messages, and purchase-related data held by Todiax or its processors, including RevenueCat. These records require a separate review and cleanup; deleting the sign-in account alone does not erase them all. Only the limited exceptions below may be retained.

Your Google account, original Google Tasks, and app-store account are not deleted. Removing an imported task in Todiax does not remove the original Google Tasks item.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. To stop future charges, turn off renewal in the store where you subscribed. You can still request account deletion without canceling first, but charges may continue. Account deletion is not a refund request and does not delete your purchase history held independently by the app store.

Retained data and retention periods

No blanket retention exception applies to your tasks, notes, or other cloud content. See the Todiax Privacy Policy for the data types and processing purposes. You may ask about retained data in the same deletion request.

Delete data without deleting your account

You can remove cloud sync data while keeping your Todiax account. This is a partial data-deletion option; it does not delete your account, purchase history, or support records.

  1. Open Sync in Todiax.
  2. While Sync is active, select Turn off sync on all devices, or Turn off sync if only one device is connected. After Sync access expires, select Delete sync data now from the retention panel.
  3. Confirm the deletion prompt.

This immediately removes the encrypted sync records, device links, pairing requests, and recovery key records from the active backend. Inaccessible operational backups may retain the deleted encrypted data for no more than 30 additional days; those copies cannot be used for synchronization or restoration. Local tasks remain on your devices. Turning sync on again can upload your remaining local data again.

Turn off sync on this device only disconnects that device; it does not delete the server data.

If you cannot use the in-app option, email programer.dn.jp@gmail.com with the subject Todiax cloud data deletion request and say that you want to keep your account. The same ownership verification and processing times apply; no purchase is required to submit a request. You can also identify another category, such as a support message, that you want deleted without deleting your account.
